PRAY FOR ME VIDEOOOOOO! Omg!
I became a fan of Darey Art Alade’s music a few years when I watched his Sisi Eko music video. As you probably can tell, I really love color, vibrancy and warmth. I like colorful videos, spaces, and things. So that video was perfect.
Since then, I have followed Darey’s work from a little distance. I’m not a die-hard fan, but I definitely love me some Darey.
The “Pray for me” video features Nigerian entertainment power couple, Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs. The video is so beautiful I cried so much while watching it. Also, it made me homesick. If you read my Bellanaija article, you know that I’m quite obsessed with the idea of home and the places which we latch ourselves to.

I saw that one. I loved it as well, but I’ve always had a preference/ soft spot for Darey 😀 Also, this one feels closer to home for me. 🙂
